1. What is MyDiary?

MyDiary refers to a selection of diaries offered by Get Positive Productions. These include:

Diaries for primary, middle, high, senior & tertiary schools and colleges around Australia & NZ
Diaries for Businesses & Organisations
Diaries for Teachers
Diaries for Sporting Clubs & Gymnasiums
Other custom made diaries

2. What is unique about MyDiary?

Unlike school diaries getting produced by your local printer in a rush at the end of the year. Get Positive Productions work full-time throughout the year on their MyDiary designs. This means:

You get a better quality product for a better price (as the cost of our designs are shared amongst all our clients, not just one)
We invest a great deal of time and money researching:
What students would like to see in their school diary
What teachers would like to see in their school diary
We provide high level graphic designers to take your images and school information and turn it into a diary that showcases your school to your community.

3. How Do I Order MyDiary

You can either order online by clicking here or email us at louisa@getpositive.com.au for an order form and pricelist.

4. Is there a minimum number of diaries to purchase?

There is no minimum to purchase if would like a generic diary (no personalised content).
For personalised diaries our minimum is 100 diaries.

5. When can I get MyDiary delivered?

Orders close in September for a January Delivery date.
If you order early or later than this date diaries we can still accept orders. Delivery can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks depend on season.

6. Can I order MyDiary if I am from a school in Australia or New Zealand?

Of course. Orders can be taken throughout Australia & New Zealand. The majority of delivery is included in prices listed.

7. Can I personalised the cover?

Yes you certainly can. Check out some of our work here.
You can also personalised pages at the begining. We work in sets of 2, 4, 6, 8, 16, 24, 32, 48, 56+ as well as pages throughout the diary. Check out our samples here.

8. Who does the artwork for the cover and personalised pages?

Upon ordering we'll send you a "What to do Now" leaflet which will outline the steps. In summary, you'll need to send us up to 6 images to decorate the cover, together with your personalised pages in word doc. then we'll graphically design it and email it back to you for proofing. This process is repeated until you sign off to go to print.

9. If I wanted to can I design the cover and personalised pages myself?

Yes, you are more than welcome to use your own graphic designer. Our "What to do now" leaflet will outline the print & set-up specifications.
Students may also design their own cover. A great idea is to run a Diary Cover Designing competition to encourage students to get involved.

10. How do I encourage the student to use your diary?

We understand that teachers and parents play a crucial role in supporting diary usage. We have put together a teachers toolkit which outlines:
• Memo to teachers & form teachers to gain support of the new school diary (and to emphasise to students it's usage in class)
• Memo to teachers to ask for information they would like to include in their school diary
• Memo to art teachers to supply artwork for the cover or bookmark (this also includes a student permission/release form)
• Letters to parent to encourage signing the diary each week.
• A speech the Principal could read out at assembly to gain student support.
• Student Certificates to award diary usage.
• Teacher & student surveys.
• Quiz's for 1 st day back of term 1- to help the student familiarize themselves with the new diary content.

13. Do I get a proof before the diary is printed?

Yes, we will email you a proof of your cover and personalised pages to approve before printing. We will also email you a

Cost for MyDiary can vary from $4 to $14 depending on the style and personalised content, please email us for our price list.

16. How many personalised pages can I have?

... As many as you can afford!

17. Can I get optional extras like a plastic pocket and file connector?

Yes we have plenty of optional extras you can choose from such as:

Plastic Pocket
File Connector
Leather-Look Prestegious PVC Covers which can be gold or silver embossed
Personalised bookmark
Perforations
Stickers
...anything else you can think of!

18. What type of binding do your offer?

Our preferred binding method is spiral plasticoil, it is the most durable and flexible binding available. Other binding such as notch, glue, staple or wiro are available on individual jobs if requested.

19. Is their a delivery cost?

We absorb most of the delivery charges. This will be detailed on the order form.

21. When do I need to supply my personalised pages and cover pics?

It is preferred that you supply your school material within 21 days of ordering. Depending on the season this can increase or decrease.

22. Will you be available to help me 24 hrs a day?

Of course, I live and breathe diaries. I have a mobile contact on the order form which you can ring anything you need to. Not that I have ever had anyone ring me at 3am with diary dreams... but it could happen one day!

25. How do I pay for your diaries?

Normally a deposit is required to secure your order with the remainder payable within 30 days of receiving your diaries.

Payment can be made via Paypal, Cheque, Credit Card, Direct Deposit, Money Order, international transfer or Cash.

26. How durable are your student diaries?

With the protective polyproplene covers our diaries will definetely last the year. To date we have received no complaints abou the durability of our diaries.

27. Will you update the puzzles, facts, cartoons and other information in the diary each year?

Yes of course every year we ensure the diary is fresh and new to maintain student interest.
